How To enable and disable error control.
Step 1
Click Start, click Run, type in Regedit.exe, which is the Registry Editor, and then click OK
Step 2
Locate and click the following key in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dmadmin
Step 3
On the Edit menu, click Modify
Step 4
Then change the Value Data field to a value of 0 or 1 for disable an enable.
Quit Registry Editor
